'Below Ground' is the soundtrack to the recent short experimental documentary of the same name, filmed deep underground in the 'Cuevas Del Drach' (Dragon Caves) of Majorca in the Balearic Islands of Spain.

Produced and Directed by filmmaker Mike George in the style of a vintage expedition documentary, the film exposes the breathtaking natural beauty and growth of the caves, and the terrifying claustrophobic feeling of gradually moving deeper and deeper underground.

Cooper Nixon's highly experimental and ambient original soundtrack perfectly compliments the other-worldly images, perched at a crossroads of fear, darkness, beauty and wonder. It evokes the foreboding sense of apprehension and dread, while summoning the exhilarating anticipation of discovering the wonders of uncharted realms.
